BOUGHT MY RIALTA ABOUT 6 MOS AGO.  DASH AC WENT OUT AND I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO FIX IT.  THIS MAY BE A STUPID QUESTION BUT CAN I RUN THE ROOF AC WHILE DRIVING?  MY NEXT STEP IS TO REPLACE THE INTERIOR BATTERIES SINCE THEY DON'T SEEM TO BE RECHARGING.  THE TV WILL ONLY WORK A SHORT TIME WHILE DRIVING.  DO THE INTERIOR BATERIES HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE ROOF AC RUNNING WHILE DRIVING OR IS IT THE GENERATOR….IF IT WILL RUN AT ALL WHILE DRIVING.  ANY HELP APPRECIATED.  I AM A SINGLE MOM AND NOT INCREDIBLY MECHANICALY INCLINED.

Hi,

Roof a/c only works when plugged in to electricity or when running generator.  You can not run the generator when you are driving.  The roof a/c takes a lot of power to start so you can't run much else if you are using the generator to operate it.  So no, you can't use it when driving.

If the coach batteries are fairly new, you may want to have the solenoid checked before you replace the batteries.

Good luck!

Yes you can run the gneraor while driving.  I have done it many times and the owners manul states it's OK too.
